    Low Calorie or Fat Diets Do Not Work
    The reason you cannot lose weight by starving yourself (using a low calorie or fat diet) is because your metabolism will detect any major drop in calories and it will then ADJUST ITSELF by burning fewer calories each day.

    I went down that road years ago…
    I would limit my daily intake to 600cals, and work out one hour per day… At least one pig out per week, and no food at all the following day…

    Eating/not eating became my life… I went down to 85lbs for 5′7″… I started having irregular heartbeat…

    The best thing for me was to try to focus on other things, activities that I enjoyed… I started a job that I really liked, and soon after, found great friends.

    Recovery is really slow, try to find what are the core issues at play, and work on them…
