ok i havent found anything about hair care on here (yet) and so here is my question, how do i get rid of tangles in my shoulder length hair without, conditioner or any hair-care products???? another kinda personal question, um how do you guys wind down after a loooong day? cause i work at a day-care center and have you ever tried to get very cranky 5 year olds to take their medicane? lol i need a way to wind-down and relax with just water, shampoo and conditioner, a fluffy towel, and me! lol thank you for answering!!!!

Dry hair plz help.

I got my hair highlighted yesterday and it was suppose to be brown, which is my natural color, with blonde highlights. It turned out mostly red with a little bit of blonde and i HATED it. I went and got Garnier Nutrisse hair color that was brown and I am going to dye it. I know this works extremley well because I have used it numerous times before but I wanted to know if it will still turn out okay if its put on top of red hair. It wont turn out any funky colors will it?

So I’ve been growing out my relaxed hair for about 5 or 6 months now and my natural hair is really really really thick! I can’t even put my hair into one pontytail with out lumps and bumps on the side, even with gel, damp or any other products!
I use a ponytail puff to wear my hair everyday and now the ends are breaking off and the hair is becoming dry.

Is there a hair care regime to soften my hair and to make it more managable?
(preferably organic)

How do you manage your natural hair/ new growth?

I just dyed my hair. I am trying to go dark again for the winter…so I did. It looks awesome, a nice deep chocolate brown.

My question is….

With all the hair care products out there…do I get:

1.) Color Care (formulated for color treated hair - prodefcts from UVA and stuff, but it’s allready like 57* with no sun here, uggggg)

2.) Brown Care (formulated for hair that is brown - protects and shines with brown enhancers)

3.) Any others?

I just dont want it to fade out quick, ya know? I have family pictures on Oct first so it has to last at least that long, LOL!

Ok….I have been wearing my hair in the same hairstyle for 8 months. I bleached my hair in January and i didn’t take care of it. I did the worst thing someone could do to bleached hair….PERM IT AFTERWARDS. I have been wearing cornrows for the past eight months. Now that I am going to college, I am entering a field where I would like to look more professional and I think that is only possiblie if I cut my hair so I can promote healthy hair growth. This isn’t the first time I cut my hair though. I cut my hair in August 2005 and took really good care of it and what do you know my hair is flowing past my shoulder. I don’t plan on applying a lot of heat to my hair I will plan on relaxing the hair that hasn’t been permed since January. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!!!!
